TOOLS, PROGRAMS & LINKS: Health & Safety
The Health and Safety Manual, developed in cooperation with the
Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and the Industrial
Accident Prevention Association will provide a summary of best practices
for the temporary staffing industry. ACSESS recognizes the importance of
ensuring that all members are well informed of their responsibilities in
the area of Health and Safety. The Temporary Agency Project Committee, chaired
by Mary McIninch, ACSESS, has been meeting regularly over the course of
the past two years. In developing this resource tool for the industry, ACSESS
recognizes the valuable contributions of our employers, committee, and Health
and Safety Associations and the Ministry of Labour.
This manual will benefit members on a National scale and will be reviewed
on an annual basis and updated as necessary.
