NEWS & PRESS: Media Kit - Press Releases July 20, 2006 A Brief Update Dear ACSESS Members: On July 4th we circulated an e-mail concerning the Public Works & Government Services Canada June 29th posting of a New Request for Standing Offer. Since that time there has been communication with the Minister of PWGSC as well as the A/Assistant Deputy Minister and others involved in the procurement system for temporary help services, and on July 14th the Minister removed the RMSO from MERX to allow suppliers to provide comments and recommendations as they see fit. During this period The Ottawa Citizen also published a very negative editorial regarding temporary help services and we are pleased to report that an ACSESS "rebuttal" letter to the editor was published on July 15th.
