CPC CERTIFICATION: What is CPC Certification CPC Certification -
CPC modules were developed in 2003/04 by a group of Canadian professors and have been continuously updated and improved by industry experts. All modules are designed to include required knowledge as well as open dialogue on participant and instructor experiences. Effective July 2010 ACSESS exemption policies and knowledge requirements to complete the CPC program will be enhanced to reflect improvements adopted in the U.S. The maximum number of available CPC course exemptions will be 2, and exemptions granted on the length of industry experience will be measured against industry sector experience. Other program improvements currently being explored include webinars and equivalency training. It is an ACSESS goal to make this important program easily available to members in all regions of Canada. Following completion of the required number of modules, the final step in attaining the CPC designation is successful completion of the national examination which can be written in locations across the country. There is no study guide for the examination which is a culmination of student knowledge acquired through attendance at CPC workshops and prior industry experience. Please note: that to write the examination, a candidate must have successfully completed the on-line Level 1 Test. Why Certify?
